No. DB278 D2 - Digital Barometer

The classic field of operation of the DB278 D2 is measurement of air pressure in met. offices, on airports and the calibration of altimeters, barometers and barographs.The display shows the mean value of both corrected transducers. The reliability is achieved by the use of two pressure transducers. The DB278 D2 compares the two transducers and if their values differ more then 0.2 hPa the local display will flash and show the values of both transducers alternating.

No. DB278 D3 - Airport Barometer

The DB278 D3 is designed especially for the use on airports and as a reference for calibration of altimeters, barometers and barographs. The display shows the mean value of the three corrected transducers. The reliability is achieved by the use of three pressure transducers. The DB278 D3 compares the three transducers with each other and if the value of on transducer differ more then 0.2 hPa the display will show the term 2 TRANSD and the displayed values are calculated from the two remaining transducers. If all three transducers differ more than 0.2 hPa from each other the display will flash and shows the value of the three transducers in turn.

This Barometric pressure sensor offers extremely high accuracy and unmatched stability in a digital output configuration. It is used as the barometric standard in Automated Surface Observation Systems (worldwide) where accuracy, stability and versatility are essential.
